Overview

Galleon Strategy's generic Squarespace website undermined their premium AI adoption services, leaving the founder hesitant to share it publicly. Through a comprehensive rebrand and custom website redesign, I delivered a sophisticated digital presence that reflects their white-glove approach, builds enterprise client trust, and positions them as credible thought leaders in AI education.

With a 2-week timeline, I focused on high-impact strategic inputs rather than extensive user research:

Current site audit

Identified credibility gaps in the existing design—playful typography and bright colors undermined their premium positioning. Quick wins: refined typography, sophisticated neutral palette, and an understated nautical nod (topographic map replacing literal water imagery)

Translated client keywords (white-glove, bespoke, tailored) into visual principles by studying luxury consulting and premium SaaS brands—identifying patterns that communicate expertise without pretension

AI consulting sites were either overly technical or generic. The opportunity: own the "sophisticated guide" position—premium but approachable

I approached this as a positioning problem, not just a visual refresh. The brand needed to communicate "premium" and "personalized" without feeling cold or corporate. I developed a sophisticated yet approachable visual system—clean typography, purposeful white space, and strategic use of color to guide attention. The website architecture prioritized trust-building: clear service explanations, consultant expertise, and social proof positioned prominently.

Key design decisions

Key design decisions

Key design decisions

  • Trust before tactics: Moved methodology and case studies above the fold, letting expertise speak first before asking for conversions

  • Custom over template: Built a modular design system that could scale with the business while maintaining brand consistency—breaking free from Squarespace constraints

  • Engage through microinteractions: Implemented scroll transitions and animations to enhance visual interest and provide immediate feedback.
